ORDER :-
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to A.4, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking to quash the proceedings in Spl. S.C. No.175 of 2025 on the file of the Special Court for SC/ST (PoA) Act Cases-cum-VIII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ananthapuramu.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is not pressing for quashing the proceedings against the petitioners and seeking to dispense with the presence of the petitioner Nos.2 to 4/A.2 to A.4 before the trial Court, as they are none other than the kith and kin of 1st petitioner/A.1.
3. In view of the above submission, the present Criminal Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission. However, the trial Court shall not insist upon the personal appearance of petitioner Nos.2 to 4/A.2 to A.4 during the course of the trial, except when their presence is specifically required.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
