HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.30913 of 2025 O R DE R:
This writ petition is filed declaring the action of Respondents in not granting benefit of order of the Hon’ble High Court in W.P.No.8391 of 2005 and batch dated 08.02.2011 as confirmed in W.A.No.270 of 2011 and batch dated 22.03.2012 and consequential proceedings as arbitrary and illegal.
2. Petitioner was employed as Work Inspector in Andhra Pradesh Housing Board and worked as NMR and has put in 10 years of service. The Respondent-Board by order dated 11.04.2025 retrenched Petitioner along with other employees. Some of the retrenched employees filed W.P.No.8391 of 2025 and batch and the same was allowed directing the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioners therein into service. Subsequently, Petitioner also approached this Court and this Court in a batch of writ petitions directed them to approach the A.P. Administrative Tribunal. Pursuant thereto, Petitioner filed O.A.No.2598 of 2018, which was dismissed by order dated 06.12.2018 with a direction to Respondents shall show an endeavour to extend similar benefit that was extended to other similarly placed employees by

taking the Petitioner into service, if there is need. As the other employees are reinstated by Respondents on 18.05.2018, Petitioner is submitting representations from 17.12.2012 onwards. Hence, the present writ petition is filed in the year 2025 seeking reinstatement.
3. Heard Sri Srinivas Emani, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Government Pleader for Housing Board.
4. After a gap of 20 years reinstating the Petitioner does not arise more so without there being an order of Tribunal setting aside the order of retrenchment dated 11.04.2025.
5. Hence, the writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions if any shall stand dismissed. ___________________ NYAPATHY VIJAY, J Date: 22.07.2026 KLP
