ORDER:

1. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondent-Authorities in issuing show-cause notice vide show-cause notice No.Nil/A1/2026, dated 14.07.2026, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. The Petitioner was appointed as Legal counsellor on contract basis in Domestic Violence cell, Ongole with effect from 26.07.2023. Later, on account of certain allegations, the impugned show-cause notice vide show-cause notice No.Nil/A1/2026, dated 14.07.2026 was issued to the Petitioner and she submitted her explanation on 18.07.2026. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the impugned show-cause notice on the ground that the said notice is vague and is not supported by any material.

3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Women development and child welfare submitted that the impugned notice is only a show cause notice and no right of the Petitioner is affected and at this stage, this Court cannot interfere to it.

4. Heard the counsels.

5. The impugned notice is only a show-cause notice calling for an explanation from the Petitioner and issuance of a show-cause notice does not affect the legal right of an individual to maintain a Writ Petition. For exercise of jurisdiction under Article 226 of the constitution of India, infringement of legal right of an individual is sine qua non and in the absence of the same, no Writ can be issued. The arguments of the Petitioner on the merits of the allegations in the show cause notice cannot be examined at this stage.

6. Further, it is not the case of the Petitioner that the authority who issued the impugned show-cause notice issued it without jurisdiction. Therefore, this Court, considering the limited scope, is not inclined to interfere with the impugned show-cause notice, and consequently, this Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the Petitioner to pursue his defense before the Respondent-Authority. No order as to costs.

7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY
