ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not releasing the retirement benefits due to the Petitioners though they retired from service in the years 2021, 2024 and 2025 as illegal and arbitrary.

2. The facts leading to the filing of the case are as follows:

The Petitioners had worked in various capacities in the Departments of the Respondents and on attaining the age of superannuation in the year 2025, they had retired from the service. Though the Petitioners are entitled for retirement benefits, the same has not been disbursed. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.

3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the claim forms of the Petitioners were submitted and the retirement benefits are calculated, audited and placed in the CFMS portal. The details of payment of pending bills of the Petitioners are as under:

5. Considering the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Respondents to pay the retirement benefits to the Petitioners within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. The Respondents are also directed to pay the interest for delayed payments, as directed in the statute rules, within a further period of eight (08) weeks. No order as to costs.
