Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order, or Direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS or any other appropriate writ or direction declaring the action of the respondents in not releasing the payments for the works i.e.. Repairs and BT renewals to the road from Devarapalli- Kothavalasa R and B road to Varada Alamanda R and B
road via Mushidipalli- K.M.Palem in Devarapalli Mandal under AMC, Madugula in Anakapalli District through the Agreement No. 168/2023- 2024 dated 20-10-2023 for an amount of Rs. 96,04,114/- as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Art 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent authorities to release Rs. 96,04,114/- for the pending final bills forthwith for the above said works executed by the petitioner and pass such Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

ORDER :
1. Heard Sri Koppineedi Rambabu, learned counsel for the Writ Petitioners and Ms.M.Sandhya Deepthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Agriculture.
2. Learned Government Pleader for Agriculture would submit that there is no dispute about the quantum of claim made by the petitioners for the work done by them and requests six (6) weeks time to clear the bills.
3. Having regard to the above submissions, directed the respondents to pay the claim made by the petitioners, as per the Agreement No.168/2023-24, dated 20.10.2023 regarding repairs & BT renewals to the road from Devarapalli to Kothavalasa, within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of.
Interim orders granted earlier if any, stand vacated. Miscellaneous petitions pending if any, stand closed.
