...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased tomay be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents particularly the 2'd respondent in calling for priorities for promotion to the post of Professors from the post of Associate Professors videRc.No.1985913/E 1.A/2022 dated 02/03/2023 and whereby directing the Principals of Government Medical Colleges and concerned Assistant Director to forward the claims for priorities on or before 04/03/2023 by 11.59 P.M duly enclosing the list of Associate Professors without including the name of the petitioner pursuant to the orders of this Honourable Court in W.P.No.663 of 2022 and in not reserving one post in the cadre of Professor (OBG) in Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool pursuant to the orders of this Honourable Court in W.P.No.1915 of 2023 as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, malafide and violation of Art. 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India besides violation of the orders of this Honourable court in the earlier writ petitions and to consequently set aside the impugned proceedings in the interest of justice and to pass such IA NO: 1 OF 2023 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased may be pleased to pass an interim stay of all further proceedings pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Rc.No.1985913/El.A/2022 dated 02/03/2023, during the pendency of the writ petition in the interest of justice and to pass such Counsel for the Petitioner:

Ms.V.Sowmya, learned counsel, representing Sri K.Jyothi Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication and the matter has become infructuous.
In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. Interim order granted earlier, if any, shall stand vacated.
