Petitioners in all these writ petitions have approached this Court for a direction to respondent authorities to dispose of their applications for grant of ‘No Objection Certificate’ from revenue authorities within the timeframe
W.P.No.489 of 2023 & batch
stipulated under G.O.Ms.No.163, Industries & Commerce (Mines-II) Department, dated 16.11.2017.
2. Learned Government Pleader for Mines & Geology submits that said writ petitions can be disposed of with such a direction.
3. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of directing respondent revenue authorities to consider and pass orders in the applications filed by petitioners for grant of ‘No Objection Certificate’ within the timeframe stipulated under G.O.Ms.No.163, dated 16.11.2017, by taking cut-off date as 07.05.2026. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
