ORDER: -

This writ petition is filed against the action of the 2nd respondent in freezing the bank account of the petitioner in 2nd respondent-Bank.

2. During the course of hearing of this case today, Mr. Venkata Rama Rao Kota, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent-Bank on instructions would submit that as per the request of the 3rd respondent during the pendency of the criminal case in Crime No.6 of 2026, the bank account bearing No.31176629017, standing in the name of the petitioner was frozen to prevent further transactions.

3. Learned Standing Counsel further submits that after due verification and progress investigation, it is found that the freezing of the said account is no longer required for the purpose of investigation and accordingly the 3rd respondent requested the bank to defreeze the account of the petitioner and to allow his normal bank operations. Considering the request of the 3rd respondent on 15.04.2026, the bank account of the petitioner is defreezed and allowed the petitioner for normal operations.

5. In view of the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent, in our considered view, further adjudication in this case is not required.

6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
