JUDGMENT:

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 02.02.2026 passed by the learned Family Court- cum-IV Additional District Judge, Kurnool, in Crl.M.P.No.183 of 2025 in FCMC.No.67 of 2024 granting interim maintenance of Rs.25,000/- per month to the respondent Nos. 2 and 3.

2. Heard Sri Varun Byreddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing on behalf of the State.

3. This revision is preferred against the impugned order dated 02.02.2026 passed by the learned Family Court-cum-IV Additional District Judge, Kurnool, in Crl.M.P.No.183 of 2025 in FCMC.No.67 of 2024. Learned Judge vide order dated 02.02.2026 granted interim maintenance of Rs.25,000/- per month to the respondent Nos. 2 and 3/wife and minor daughter of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the interim maintenance granted by the learned Trial Court is on the higher side. The learned Judge failed to consider the substantial recurring expenses and the existing financial liabilities borne by the petitioner.

5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor would submit that the Court may pass appropriate orders, as the impugned order pertains only to interim maintenance and the main case is still pending.

6. As can be seen from the record, this is a revision preferred against the interim maintenance and impugned order would show that the petitioner/husband is a retired Central Government Employee and no oral or documentary evidence is adduced at the stage of enquiry in the petition filed by the wife seeking interim maintenance. It is not in dispute that the wife and minor child are residing separately from the petitioner.

7. Considering the submissions made, since this revision is preferred challenging the order dated 02.02.2026 granting interim maintenance to the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 herein, it is apposite to dispose of the present revision without causing any prejudice to the rights and contentions of the respective parties with a direction to the learned Trial Judge to dispose of the main case i.e., FCMC.No.67 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible without granting any adjournment in a casual way by mere asking, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this judgment. At the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Trial Judge shall direct both the parties to appear before the District Legal Services Authority, Kurnool, to workout their chance of reconciliation or settlement in this matter. .

8. With the above observations, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of at the stage of admission.

Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________________________ DR. JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA Date: 31.03.2026. Note: Issue CC by 02.04.2026, B/o. UPS
