1. GP FOR REVENUE (AP)

2. GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION The Court made the following order:

Heard Sri V.V.S.Ramakrishna.A, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents.

2. The grievance of the petitioners in the instant writ petition is against the action of the respondents in issuing a preliminary notification under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “Act 30 of 2013”).

3. The petitioners contend that the subject land is their only source of livelihood and that they would be deprived of their livelihood.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed before the Court a copy of the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, dated 03.03.2026. A perusal of the same would reflect that the landowners of the subject village did not come forward to give consent for the acquisition. Another village was identified, and the beneficiaries have expressed their willingness to acquire land there. In view of the same, lands notified under the preliminary notification for acquisition of the subject land are no longer required.

5. Therefore, vide proceedings dated 25.02.2021 notification was withdrawn under Section 93(1) of the Act 30 of 2013. It is further stated that the notification issued under the “Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu” Scheme has also been withdrawn.

6. Having regard to the above, this Court is of the view that the grievance of the petitioners is resolved and no further orders are required to be passed in the instant case.

7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
