ORDER:

The present writ petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2026, as illegal, arbitrary and consequently to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner from Darsi Municipality to Ongole Municipal Corporation.

2. Heard Sri Alapati Vivekananda, the learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Gudapati Lakshmi Narayana, the learned Standing Counsel for 4th respondent-Municipality and Sri A.S.C.Bose, the learned Standing Counsel for 5th respondent.

3. The undisputed facts in the present litigation are that the petitioner made an application for transfer from Darsi Municipality to Ongole Municipal Corporation and admittedly, both the Municipality as well as the Corporation have considered the same and the matter was placed before the committee. The committee also passed a resolution to that effect. Now, that resolution has to be implemented by the 2nd respondent.

4. Considering the submissions and on perusal of the material placed before this Court, without going into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as per Council Resolution No.208, dated 29.07.2025. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________ JUSTICE D.RAMESH
