1. GP FOR SERVICES I

The Court made the following order:-

The writ petition is filed seeking the following relief:

“…to issue Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, for a direction to the Respondents to consider the representations filed by the petitioners on 20-2-2026 to furnish the documents by which the articles of charges framed against the petitioners, to face the enquiry proceedings pursuant to the G.O.Rt.No.150 dt. 13-2- 2026 issued by the 2nd Respondent…”

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The contention of the petitioners is that though the respondents have initiated disciplinary proceedings and issued charge memo on 25.01.2023, the respondents failed to furnish relevant documents on the basis of which the articles of charges were framed and the petitioners has also made a representation dated 20.02.2026 to that effect. Despite receipt of the said representation, the respondent authorities have not inclined to furnish the documents. Hence, the writ petition.

4. Considering the said submissions, this court is not inclined to go into the merits of the case and the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent authorities, more particularly, 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioners dated 20.02.2026 and furnish the documents on the basis of which the articles of charges were framed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
