The Court made the following Order:

The present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not releasing an amount of Rs.12,00,000/- in respect of the work i.e., Construction of Anganwadi Centre building at Pamulapadu Village to the petitioner.

2. Mr. K Venkat Nagabhushanam, learned counsel representing the learned counsel for the petitioner, made submissions with reference to the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition and circumstances leading to filing of the present writ petition. He submits that though the petitioner executed the work pursuant to an Agreement dated 10.12.2020, without any complaint whatsoever, the respondents have not released an amount of Rs.12,00,000/-, even after finalization of the bill. He submits that non-payment of the amount is unjust, arbitrary and causing serious prejudice and great hardship to the petitioner.

3. He also drawn the attention of this Court to the Para No.9 of the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent No.1 wherein three (03) months time was sought for, for completing the process of payment of eligible amount to the petitioner.

4. In the light of the above stated position, more particularly as there is no dispute with regard to the work executed by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, providing that the respondent authorities shall arrange to pay the due amount to the petitioner in respect of NJS,J

the subject matter work, as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of six (06) weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. So far as the claim for interest is concerned, the petitioner may work out his remedies before the appropriate forum, if he is so advised.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________________ JUSTICE NINALA JAYASURYA Date:09.03.2026 Ksj
