The Court made the following Order:

The petitioners have approached this Court the erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, being aggrieved by the steps being taken by the respondents to lay a road through their lands, by way of W.P.No.14328 of 2015, before the erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh. A Learned Single Judge of erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad, by an order dated 07.05.2015, had granted a Status quo obtaining as on that date in relation to the land claimed by the petitioners.

2. Subsequent to the said order, the petitioners have approached the erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the State of Telangana and the State of Andhra Pradesh, by way of the present Contempt Case, contending that the respondents had continued to lay a road over the said land despite the order of Status quo granted by the Learned Single Judge of the erstwhile High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents had appeared before the Learned Single Judge and had stated that the land had been taken and the road was already under process of construction by the time the interim order had been passed and there was no violation of the directions of the Court.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners sought time to file a reply. However, no reply has been filed till date.

5. In the circumstances, this Court does not find any reason to continue the present contempt proceedings.

6. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ R. RAGHUNANDAN RAO, J
