...CONTEMNOR Petition under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit file herein the High Court may be pleased to punish the Respondent under section 10 and 12 of contempt courts act for willfully disobeying the orders of the Hon'ble Court dated 16-03- 2018 and not complying with the directions given by the Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.2888 of 2018 in the interest of justice. IA NO: 1 OF 2021 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to take up Cc 137/2019 as on out of turn for disposal of the same at the earliest and pass Counsel for the Petitioner:

1. PRAVEEN KUMAR S Counsel for the Contemnor:

1. UMADEVI MANCHALA The Court made the following:

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE BATTU DEVANAND & THE HON’BLE SMT JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA

CONTEMPT CASE No.137 of 2019 ORDER:(Per Hon’ble Sri Justice Battu Devanand)

This Contempt Case has been filed complaining the willful disobedience of the respondents in implementing the order dated 16.03.2018 in W.P.No.2888 of 2018 passed by the Division Bench of this Court.

2. On perusal of proceedings, it appears that on 13.10.2020, Sri Raja Reddy Koneti, learned counsel on record for the petitioner, stated that he had returned the case bundle to the petitioner along with ‘no objection vakalat’ and hence, he was not appearing for the petitioner in this case. Recording the submission, a Coordinate Bench adjourned the matter for four

(04) weeks. Thereafter, it appears that no appearance was entered by any counsel on behalf of the petitioner. There was no representation for the petitioner either in person or through an advocate from the year 2020 to 2026. There was sufficient time for the petitioner to enter his appearance, if he was interested in prosecuting the case. But the circumstances appear that he has no interest in prosecuting the case.

3. In view of the same, the Contempt Case is closed.

4. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
