ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed against the respondents complaining wilful disobedience of the order, dated 07.12.2017 in W.P.No.16345 of 2001.

2. While disposing the said Writ Petition, this Court directed the respondents therein to take into consideration the services rendered by the petitioner for the period from 06.11.1982 to 05.03.1985 for the purpose of pensionary benefits and without any monetary benefits.

3. During the course of hearing today, Mr.K.Guna Sekhar, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.1, has placed a copy of proceedings, dated 04.05.2021 issued by the Vice- Chancellor, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati and would submit that the order of this Court is complied with, and a copy of the same is communicated to the petitioner.

4. The copy of the proceedings, dated 04.05.2021 is placed on record.

5. Upon perusal of the same, it appears that on 04.05.2021, the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati has issued proceedings considering the services rendered by the petitioner as lecturer in Education for the period from 06.11.1982 to 05.03.1985 for the purpose of pensionary benefits and without any monetary benefits. Consequently, the Vice-Chancellor issued proceedings on 26.06.2021, sanctioning the revised pensionary benefits and revised Consolidated Pension & Family Pension in respect of the petitioner.

6. It is represented that already the petitioner has challenged the proceedings, dated 26.06.2021 in W.P.No.18376 of 2025 and it is pending before this Court.

7. In view of the above factual position, in our considered view, there is no wilful contempt on the part of the respondents in implementing the order of this Court and the contempt case is required to be closed.

8. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Contempt Case shall stand closed.
