1. Heard Mr. Chaudhari the learned Counsel for Applicant and Mr. Lokhande, the learned AGP for Respondent/State.

2. The present Review Application is filed by the Applicant/original petitioner seeking review of judgment and order dated 20/11/2025 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 10832/2019.

3. The applicant had filed a writ petition seeking appointment on compassionate grounds in place of her brother, claiming that she was

904-RA-205-2026 depending upon the brother who died in harness. This Court considered the case in detail. This Court also considered the judgment in the case of Swapanali Shekhar Kalbhor and Ors. Vs. The State of Maharashtra and Ors. passed by this Court in WP/7797/2014 (Bombay). In the said case, the petitioner was deserted by her husband and that fact was considered while allowing the writ petition. Further thing considered therein was that when a person dies who is unmarried, in that case his brother or sister can claim an appointment on compassionate grounds. Learned Advocate Mr. Chaudhari submits that this judgment is not considered in letter and spirit properly.

4. Be that as it may, even assuming the case to be true, still a mere wrong appreciation of a judgment relied upon by the Court in the order does not give a cause to file a review. No error apparent on the face of record as such is pointed out by the learned Advocate for the Applicant. This Court is, therefore, not inclined to entertain the review application. The review application therefore stands dismissed and disposed off. [ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.]
