1. By this Civil Application, the Applicant / original Petitioner challenges communications dated 29th August, 2026, by which late fee of Rs.4 lakh per course (totaling to Rs.8 lakhs) is demanded from the Applicant / Petitioner.
2. It is the contention of the Applicant that the affiliation was granted by the University on 29th August, 2026 and the same was to be furnished on or before the cut-off date 5th March, 2026 which was prescribed by the Bar Council of India. The Applicant, therefore, contends that it was beyond the control of the Applicnat that it could not produce the affiliation on or before the said cutoff date. It is further contended that, till date, the Petitioner has already deposited an amount of Rs.22.50 lakh with the Bar Council of India. SVH 2026:BHC-AUG:48670-DB
