1. This petition challenges the order dated 30/09/2020, issued by respondent No.6 Commissioner, Parbhani Corporation, thereby rejecting the claim of petitioner for appointment on the post of Safai Kamgar in place of his mother in terms of Lad-Page Committee, on the ground that as per the Government Resolution dated 11/03/2016, persons belonging to Mehtar, Bhangi and Scheduled Castes category only can be given benefit of Lad-Page Committee scheme and the petitioner belongs to Nomadic Tribe (C).

2. Learned AGP has drawn our attention to the Government Resolution dated 24/02/2023 by which guidelines for appointment in terms of Lad-Page Committee are revised.

3. It appears that, subsequently the Government policy SVH 2026:BHC-AUG:47686-DB

2 71-WP-1797-22.odt has been changed to some extent and there are Government Resolutions as well as Circulars governing the issue raised in this petition.

4. In that view of the matter, the impugned order dated 30/09/2020 passed by respondent No.6, is quashed and set aside and the matter is remanded back to respondent No.6 for consideration afresh in terms of the subsequent Government Policy. Respondent No.6 shall decide the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. (ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J.) (NITIN B.
