1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petition impugned the election program and the election has already been conducted and, therefore, the cause does not survive for consideration. He seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the results of the election in an appropriate forum and in appropriate proceedings.
