1. Heard Mr. Panday, learned Advocate for Applicants and Mr. Utkarsh, Advocate for the Complainant.

2. The Applicants and the Complainant are present before the Court. The complaint came to be lodged in view of an incident that occurred on a cricket ground. It is alleged that the Complainant questioned the Applicant as to why he was recording him which led to a verbal altercation between the parties. The dispute escalated into a scuffle, during which both parties sustained simple injuries. The medical certificate evidencing the two simple injuries is annexed at page 80.

3. Both parties are young offenders and are present before the Court. They are remorseful about their actions. In view of the joint request made by them for quashing the criminal proceedings by consent, I am of the view that the present Application deserves to be allowed so that the parties may move on with their lives without the ignominy of the criminal proceedings against them.

4. Accordingly, Sessions Case No. 884 of 2026, pending before the Hon’ble Sessions Court, Mumbai, is quashed and set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. The Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads thus:- “(a) That this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to quash the above- mentioned Cr.No.401/2026 registered with Nehru Nagar Police Station, Dist. Mumbai for offence punishable under section 109, 351(2), 352, 11(5), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, Chargesheet and Session Case (committed from Ld. JMFC, Vikhroli but not yet registered at Sessions Court) on such terms and conditions as this Hon’ble Court may deems fit and proper may please be granted”.
