Heard learned counsel for petitioner.
During the course of arguments controversy boils down to prayer clause II which prays for direction to decide the appeal within a particular period along with stay application.
Considering the nature of relief sought and in the interest of justice, we direct the appellate authority to decide the stay application within two weeks from the date of appearance. The parties are directed to appear before the appellate authority on 16/10/2026 at 11.00 a.m.
The stay granted by this Court vide order dated 12/10/2026 shall continue till decision on stay application. Liberty is also granted to prefer an application for expeditious hearing of the appeal, once the stay application is decided. KOLHE 2026:BHC-NAG:13829-DB

Needless to mention that Nagpur District Unified Hockey Association can move an application for intervention in the appellate proceedings.
The present petition is accordingly, disposed of.
