1. Heard Ms. Shrushti S. Dod, learned counsel for the petitioner. The impugned order is passed below Exhibit 1 in Regular Civil Appeal No. 28/2022 by the District Judge–1, Akot. By way of said order, the money decree which was passed in favour of the present petitioner has been stayed. Even though it is observed that, looking to the small issue, the appeal would be decided on 12.03.2026, the learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the appeal still pends. She also submits that since the money decree has been stayed, grave prejudice is caused to her.

2. I have considered the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the limited controversy involved, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Judge–1, Akot, to decide Regular Civil Appeal No. 28/2022 as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, till 30.11.2026, looking to the fact of the intervening Diwali holidays.

3. With this direction, the petition is disposed of.

4. Needless to mention that the order of staying the impugned decree would remain in force till 30.11.2026 only.
