…for the State

1. The learned Advocate representing the petitioner referred to an order dated 24.11.2025 passed by the Co- ordinate Bench of this Court in C.R.M (M) 2351 of 2025 whereby the petitioner was granted the liberty to renew the prayer for bail after 15th May, 2026. The learned Advocate representing the petitioner further submitted that the direction of the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court had not been complied with in examining ten vulnerable witnesses.

2. The learned Advocate representing the State submitted to have examined 12 CSWs, however, could not state they had been vulnerable witnesses or not.

3. Considering the narrative of the complaint, the seizure list, the contemporaneous documents on record and the post mortem report which indicate heinous nature of the alleged offence to have been committed this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, the Trial Court is to conclude the recording of the evidence of the vulnerable witnesses within three months.

4. Accordingly, C.R.M. (M) 2282 of 2026 is dismissed.

5. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
