1. Learned senior counsel representing the petitioner submits, upon instruction that, the directions passed by the Court on 28th September, 2026 have been complied with. The payment has been made by the petitioner and ‘no liability certificate’ has been issued in favour of the petitioner by the school authority. The petitioner has submitted ‘no liability certificate’ before the Treasury Officer. Photocopy of the ‘no liability certificate’ filed in Court be retained with the records.

2. As it appears that the Pension Payment Order was issued in favour of the petitioner way back on 17th December, 2025, accordingly, the Treasury Officer is directed to release the terminal dues of the petitioner strictly in accordance with the PPO.

3. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner prays for grant of interest on account of delayed disbursement of terminal dues.

4. As it appears that the State respondents were no way responsible for the delay in issuance of the PPO and releasing the money mentioned therein and the delay was primarily because of the school authority, it will be open for the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings against the school seeking interest on account of the delayed payment.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

7. Certified server copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of all requisite formalities.
