… … Petitioner

Mr. Amitava Chowdhury

Mr. Debasis Sur

Mr. Dilip Kumar Das

… … For the Petitioner

Mr. Pawan Gupta, Ld. APP.,

Mr. Radhey Shyam Tiwari

…For the State

Petitioner stands implicated in a case of cheating. There are at least 13 similar criminal antecedents as against the petitioner. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will not only affect the quality of the investigation, but will also send a wrong signal to the society. In such circumstances, I am unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application being C.R.M. (A) 3463 of 2026 stands dismissed.

Memorandum of evidence filed in Court be kept on record.
