Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been foisted with a case under the NDPS Act because of alleged recovery of 25 bottles of codeine mixtures from the joint possession of petitioner and others. Learned advocate appearing for the State submitted a report. I find that 22 cases are pending against the present petitioner which includes cases not only under the NDPS Act but also relating to other heinous offence including Arms Act and docoity. Having regard to the previous history of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 2066 of 2026 is rejected.
