… for the Petitioner(s)

Mr. Sagar Saha Ms. Nayana Mukhopadhyay

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the recovery of 4.727 kg of brown sugar was allegedly recovered from a neighbouring house of the petitioner, thereafter, he was arrested on 13.1.2026. The petitioner has no connection with the said house. There were subsequent recoveries of 273 gm of brown sugar. State opposes the prayer for bail in view of huge quantity of seizure in the present case Having considered the huge quantity of seizure in the present case and part recovery has been made from the present petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS)

of is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Memo of evidence submitted be kept with the record. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
