1. Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.
2. State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.
3. Petitioner stands accused of extorting money in order to facilitate payment of bills to government contractor.
4. Materials in the case diary suggest that, money was made over to the petitioner through online platform.
5. Petitioner contends that, those payments relate to business transaction.
6. At the very minimum a robust investigation is required with regard to the police case.
7. Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail is likely to affect the quality of investigation.

8. In such circumstances, I am not minded to grant bail to the petitioner.
9. Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
10. CRM(A) 3373 of 2026 is dismissed.
