... For the Petitioner.

Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya, APP, Mr. Koustav Lal Mukherjee

... For the State.

A report dated 22.09.2026 submitted by the Sub- Inspector of Police attached to New Township Police Station, Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate be kept with the record. Having considered the said report, I am of the opinion that custodial detention of the present petitioner cannot be ruled out in view of the seizures which have been effected. Having regard to the same, I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. Memo of Evidence submitted on behalf of the State be kept with the record. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 1342 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed.
