……Petitioner.

Mr. Ranajoy Chatterjee

Ms. Riya Mahanta

……for the Petitioner.

Mr. Pradip Kumar Banerjee, Ld. APP

Mr. Aniruddha Bhattacharyya

Ms. Nabanita Chatterjee

….for the State.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner, victim and others had been to an outing where the victim fell in the water and got drowned.

State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the case diary.

I have taken into account the materials appearing in the case diary including the fact that the petitioner is aged about 17 years. Having regard to the same, I am inclined to allow the prayer for anticipatory bail.

2

Petitioner is directed to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board within a period of 4 weeks from date. The Juvenile Justice Board will impose such terms and conditions as it deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations CRM (A) 3115 of 2026 is allowed.
