……for the State.

The total quantum of seizure in the present case is 10 Kgs. of Brown Sugar. So far as present petitioner is concerned there has been recovery of 567 Gms. of Brown Sugar from the joint possession of the petitioner and others. Petitioner was arrested on 02.01.2026 and since then he is in custody.

Be that as it may, the affidavit of the State reflects that there are four criminal antecedents of the petitioner which includes two cases under the NDPS Act.

Having considered the reasons assigned in CRM (NDPS) 1568 of 2026 I am of the opinion the same reasons apply to the present petitioner.
