Bengal Surgicals Ltd. Versus Ranjit Karmakar & Anr.

[

This matter was mentioned by the learned Advocate for the petitioner citing urgency. Considering the urgency pleaded, this matter has been upgraded to be taken up today for hearing. However, none appears on behalf of the petitioner. This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 10th Court at Alipore, to dispose of the Money Suit No. 255 of 2023, expeditiously. From the order sheet appended to this application, this Court finds that 20th July, 2026 was fixed for hearing. It further appears that the regular Presiding Officer was under an order of transfer. After the regular Presiding Officer joins, an endeavour shall be made by the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 10th Court at Alipore to dispose of the Money Suit No. 255 of 2023(R) as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
