D/L- 24 29/09/2026 Ct. No.- 6 Aritra C.O. 3427 of 2026

Sri Ranadeb Nath Vs. Smt. Debi Prosad Roy Chowdhury & Ors.

Mr. Arjun Samanta ….for the petitioner

This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the plaintiff praying for a direction upon the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court at Sealdah to dispose of Title Suit No.160 of 2017 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit has already been fixed for ex parte hearing and January 22, 2027 is the next date fixed in the said suit. It appears from the order sheets appended to this application that the Presiding Officer is not available. After the regular Presiding Officer joins the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Div.), 2nd Court at Sealdah shall make an endeavour to dispose of Title Suit No.160 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties keeping in mind that the suit is for eviction and pending from the year 2017. Accordingly, CO 3427 of 2026 stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
