On the prayer of the petitioner leave is granted to file supplementary affidavit disclosing the reasoned order dated August 14, 2026. Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today is taken on record. Copy has been served. In Re: CPAN 1185 of 2026 Mr. Anjan Bhattacharya, learned advocate with Mr. Ajay Chaubey, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this contempt proceeding with a leave to file appropriate proceeding to challenge the impugned order of the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) dated August 14, 2026. In view of the above, this contempt proceeding being CPAN 1185 of 2026 stands dropped and closed. In view of the above, this contempt proceeding CPAN
of stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to challenge the impugned order passed by the alleged contemnor dated August 14, 2026, annexure P-9 at page 8 to the supplementary affidavit in the appropriate proceeding in accordance with law. It is made clear that, this Court has not expressed any opinion on the said impugned order dated August 14, 2026 and all points are kept open for the petitioner while challenging the same in appropriate proceeding. In Re: CPAN 1348 of 2024 This contempt application has already been disposed of by an order dated April 17, 2026.
Therefore, the Registry is directed to take steps to indicate the disposal of this contempt application in record wherever it is necessary.
