1. Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there has been alleged recovery of 73 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from the joint possession of the petitioner and others. Other accused persons have been granted bail.

2. Learned Advocate appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and produced the memo of evidence.

3. The memo of evidence submitted in the present case reflects that the present petitioner has seven criminal cases pending against him. Amongst that one of the case happens to be Kaliachak P.S Case No. 1476 of 2024 which is a case under the NDPS Act. Having considered the antecedent of the present petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

4. Accordingly, C.R.M (NDPS) 1738 of 2026 is dismissed.

5. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the Official website of this Court.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
