Interim order earlier granted is hereby vacated. Earlier, there was a direction to submit the Supplementary Report relating to transaction in respect of the investments. Such order was passed on 12.08.2026. More than one month has passed since such order was passed. Having considered the subject-matter of the case whereby the complainant was allured and an approximate sum of Rs. 35 lakh was misappropriated, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

2 Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 948 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
