……Petitioner. Mr. Arnab Chatterjee Mr. Avik Ghosh Ms. Ankusha Ghosh
.....for the Petitioner. Mr. Debajyoti Adhikari Ms. Shalu Gupta
……for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been implicated in the instant case as she is related to the principal accused and the principal accused has been acquitted in the criminal case. Case relate to alleged seizure of 53 kgs of ganja. In view of the fact that petitioner was absconding since 2022 and trial of co-accused has taken place, I am not inclined to entertain the prayer for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2809 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
2 Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
