Mr. Himadree Ghosh

……for the Petitioner.

Mr. Prabal Dan

….for the State.

In the present case charge sheet has been submitted in the year 2010. There are specific accusations against the present petitioner for providing job and committing the offence of rape upon the victim.

Having considered the heinousness of the offence as also the fact that the petitioner has been evading the process of law for the last 16 years, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail in CRM (A) 922 of 2026 is dismissed.

Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record.
