WP.CT 148 of 2025

Swapan Das

- Versus – Union of India & ors. Mr. Ujjal Ray, Mr. Binit Kumar …..for the petitioner Mr. Anjan Sengupta, Mr. Sourav Sengupta, Mr. Subhamoy Bhattacharjee

….for the Union of India Mr. Chandra Sekhar Bag ….for the respondent nos.6 to 9 The present writ petition has been preferred challenging an order dated 20th June, 2025 passed by the learned Tribunal in the Original Application being O.A. No.350/0391/2024. The subject matter of challenge in the said Original Application was an order of transfer dated 12th February, 2024. Today, we have been informed by the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties that the petitioner has already accepted the order of transfer and joined the transferred post in the month of August, 2025. In view thereof, no further order is required to be passed in the said writ petition as the same has become infructuous.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties. (Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, J.) (Tapabrata Chakraborty, A.C.J.) 2
