1. The application for anticipatory bail is canvassed on the ground that the co-accused brother-in-law and sister-in-law have been granted bail. The petitioner is the husband.
2. This Court has read the statement given by the victim under Section 164 of the Cr. P.C., equivalent to Section 183 of BNSS. The allegations against the husband are of physical beating on a regular basis asking the victim to bring dowry.
3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and having considered the case diary, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, CRM (A) 738 of 2026 is hereby dismissed.
