Learned Counsel for the applicant has submitted that the Medical Officer in its report dated 22.07.2019 has expressed his opinion that the individual (deceased) died as a consequence/complication due to alcohol related illness, which is neither attributable to nor aggravated by Military Service. On what basis the Medical Officer has recorded his opinion after a lapse of about one year from the date of death of the applicant’s husband without conducting his medical examination. To clarify this aspect of the matter, learned Counsel for the respondent is seeking time. His request is accepted.
