1. The learned advocate for the petitioners and the learned advocate for the respondent are present.
2. Heard the learned advocates.
3. It is the grievance of the writ petitioners that the respondent be directed to accept the representation of the petitioners to relinquish their status as Sahayak/Sahayika taking the benefit at per with the para teachers who are initially Sahayak/Sahayika and to allow the petitioners to retain their status of Sahayak/Sahayika to get the benefit of continuation of service up to the age of 65 years.
4. Upon hearing the learned advocates and upon considering the facts of the case, this Court is of the view that the prayer of the writ petition should be allowed. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent authority to treat the petitioners as Sahayak/Sahayika and the option that is filed in DCF which the petitioners have exercised be treated as cancelled.

5. This writ petition is disposed of.
6. It is hereby clarified that the writ petitioners will not be entitled to claim the benefit of para teachers in future. (Biswaroop Chowdhury, J.)
