1. Heard Mr.A.Lal, learned Counsel appearing for the applicant. Also heard Mr.C.Baruah, learned CGSC, assisted by Sqn Ldr D.B.Singh, OIC, Legal Cell, AFT and Sgt Sanjeev Kumar, SNCO IC AIR Force Legal Cell, appearing for the respondents.
2. Producing a copy of note No.8 of the note-sheet dated 15.11.2016, it has been submitted by learned CGSC for the respondents that Govt. of India has approved the payment of the amount as directed vide order dated 10.02.2016 passed in OA-05 of 2014 by this Tribunal. It has been submitted by learned CGSC appearing for the respondents that a formal sanction order as well as the PPO are now required to be issued based on such approval for which the respondents require 8 (eight) weeks time.
3. Having regard to the aforesaid submission advanced, we adjourn the case till 20.02.2017.
4. On the next date fixed, the respondents shall produce the copy of the sanction order as well as PPO to be issued. It is however made clear that in the event of failure to do so, the respondents shall pay a cost of Rs.10,000/- to the applicant.
5. List on 20.02.2017 for orders.
6. Copy of the aforesaid note is kept on record.
