ORDER

In this Review Application, the applicant – Zee Turner Ltd has brought to my notice that in the Order dated 14.5.2007, I had stated that the subscriber base of Zee Turner Ltd is 70 to 80% that of Star because of higher price of Zee bouquets. This was based on the statement made by the learned counsel for the Applicant. Mr. Maninder Singh, the learned counsel however clarified that he had made a statement that it is because of number of channels (14) in Zee bouquets which gives rise to more price of Zee bouquets as compared to Star. The counsel for the Petitioner (non-Applicant in this Review Application) however differed with the applicant stating that there are a large number of non-Hindi channels in Zee bouquets and on the basis of Hindi/English channels, the viewership/popularity of Zee channels is less as compared to Star. This point is not of much importance since it is an admitted fact that the subscriber base of Zee is 70 to 80% as compared to Star, which is also mentioned in the Order.

2. The prayer of the Applicant that because of more popularity of Zee channels it is entitled to same monthly subscription, if not higher than that of Star, has no merit whatsoever.

3. In view of the above, the Review Application is dismissed.
