1. MA 291/2026: This Miscellaneous Application has been preferred by the original respondent. We have heard learned senior counsel Mr. Meet Malhotra appearing for applicant (original respondent) who has submitted that disconnection notice has been issued by the respondent dated 16.02.2026 mainly for the outstanding amount which is sizeable, being the subscription amount to be paid by the petitioner to the respondent.

2. It is submitted fairly by learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent that initially original petitioner had preferred MA 72/2026 in which no stay has been granted. Nonetheless, voluntarily respondent made a statement that till the next date of hearing there will not be any disconnection of supply of signals. The date has gone and much time has elapsed thereafter and initially Rs.40 Lacs were ordered to be deposited which has already been deposited by the petitioner to the respondent. Thereafter again disconnection notice has been given and out of the sizeable outstanding amount at approximately Rs.78 Lacs by now nothing has been paid in pursuance of second disconnection notice issued by the original respondent. It is submitted by learned senior counsel for the respondent that the respondent may be relieved from their statement that they will not disconnect the supply of the signals to the petitioner.

3. Today when matter is called out, nobody appeared on behalf of original petitioner. Notice upon non-applicant (original petitioner) to be served by dasti as well as email, returnable by the next date of hearing .

4. Dasti service as well as email is permitted to be served upon original petitioner by the respondent.

5. Hence, the matter is adjourned on 30.10.2026.
