1. During the course of arguments, counsel for the applicant has placed on record a copy each of the letters dated 06/8/2024 and 22/4/2026 addressed to the Branch Manager, Bank of Baroda, Sultana Branch, District Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan by the Bank of Baroda, CPPC, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, which reflect that the monthly Fixed Medical Allowance was being paid to Ex Gdr Shri Chand, a pensioner till August 2018 and thereafter, the pension account was transferred to DPDO, Jhunjhunu and then to SPARSH/PCDA (P) in August 2023. Therefore, since pension account of the applicant has already been transferred to DPDO and thereafter to SPARSH/PCDA (P) as stated by the earlier PDA, the responsibility to grant FMA to the applicant beyond August 2018 lies with DPDO/SPARSH/PCDA (P). Letters placed on record by the counsel for the applicant are taken on record. The counsel for the applicant is directed to provide copies of the above communication to the Counsel for the Respondents.

2. In view of the foregoing, Respondents are directed to take necessary steps in granting FMA alongwith arrears to the applicant as admissible within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order, failing which, the applicant shall be entitled to receive interest @6% per annum on the whole amount.

3. The OA is disposed off accordingly. No order on costs.
