4. The petitioner and respondents no. 2 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer .

5. Brief facts of the case are that the present FIR came to be registered in relation to an employment fraud. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the dispute between the petitioner and Respondent No. 2 has been amicably settled vide Settlement Agreements dated 1.09.2022. It is further submitted that Respondent No. 2 does not wish to pursue the proceedings against the present petitioner.

6. On a query made by this Court, respondent no. 2 who has been identified by the IO, has categorically stated that he has entered into compromise, vide Settlement Agreements dated 1.09.2022, out of his own free will and without any pressure, coercion or threat. Therefore, he has no objection if the present FIR is quashed.

7. In view of the above, that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will, and without any coercion, no useful purpose will be served by continuing the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. It would thus be in interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

8. Accordingly, FIR No. 315/2015, registered at Police Station Dwarka North, Delhi, for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419, 420, 464, 467, 468, 471, 474, 120B, 34 of the IPC, 1860, along with all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, is hereby quashed.
