By way of the present petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner assails the order dated 01.10.2025 passed by the learned Financial Commissioner, whereby the Financial Commissioner declined to exercise revisional jurisdiction on the ground that the land in question falls in a low-density residential area and, therefore, the East Punjab Holdings (Consolidation and Prevention of Fragmentation) Act, 1948, is not applicable.

2. Mr. V.P. Rana, learned counsel for the petitioner, relies upon the judgment passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Government of NCT of Delhi v.
