3. Mr. Joshi submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 12.02.2026 to the respondent authorities seeking correction of the revenue records in respect of Khasra No. 1221, Village Mehrauli.

4. Mr. Joshi further submits that the petitioner’s claim is premised on his assertion that he is the son of Late Shri Chander Bhan, whereas the records reflect that one Satbeer Mehlawat had applied in the year 2015, claiming himself to be the son of Late Shri Chander Bhan, and that the petitioner’s name was not mentioned therein. He further submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner in 2026 is belated.

5. Mr. Daleep Dhyani, learned counsel for the petitioner, disputes these submissions, but states that the respondent may be directed to communicate its decision, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties.

6. The writ petition, alongwith the pending application, is accordingly disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and decide the petitioner’s representation dated 12.02.2026, and communicate the decision thereon to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today.

7. It is made clear that all rights and remedies of the parties are kept open. PRATEEK JALAN, J SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 ‘B’/SD/ This is a digitally signed order.
